But of course, with Halloween fast approaching, I wanted to do something festive. Somehow during the week, a graveyard popped into my head. So I frosted the brownies, adding green food coloring to it to make it resemble grass. Then I took Keebler Fudge Shoppe Deluxe Grahams and wrote all kinds of messages (mostly RIP) to make them look like gravestones. I stuck them into the brownies and sprinkled some more cookie crumbs to look like dirt. And there you have it - Graveyard Brownies!!

BGT - October 8, 2009
This week, I made Graveyard Brownies. It's really just a twist on Oreo Brownies that I've made in the past. Simply make brownies as directed on the back of the box (for these, I went with Duncan Hines Fudge Brownies). Add in the two eggs, 2/3 cup of oil, 1/4 cup water that the brownie mix usually calls for. Except (here's the secret) throw in a cup of Oreo cookie crumbs. Mix it all up, put in a 13x9 inch baking pan, and bake on 350 degrees for about 25 minutes. Badda-bing - there you have it! Oreo Brownies!
