I am not a berry person. In fact, I've long since described myself as a person who eats "nothing ending in -erry" (so as to include cherries in that mix as well). But in honor of my New Year's resolution, I decided to give them a chance. After all, they had to have different flavors and textures, right?
So I went with blueberries. I think they happened to be on sale and that's why I chose them, but in reality other berries might also have been on sale. I brought them home, rinsed them off, and ate two at once. They weren't too bad. Threthe texture was a bit funny, and they were a tad tangy. So I ate two more, and truth be told I started to like them less the more I ate. I gave a good handful a chance before I decided that I won't be including berries in my new, more robust diet.
