Food of the Week
Hi all,
My new year's resolution this year was to try one new food per week. I am kind of a picky eater in that I tend to stick with what I know. My standard reply is "I don't like that" if someone even tries to introduce me to a new food - even if I've never tried it before. My mother tells me all the time that I came out of the womb as a picky eater - it took me 4 hours to take my very first bottle, and it was downhill after that. I either have to be very hungry or feeling extremely adventurous to try anything new.
But I started WW in November and true to form, I stuck with the same ol' foods I was used to. I was (am) doing great, sticking with it, and I have seen results. But in roaming around the message boards and the WW website in addition to finding new recipes to try has led me to make the decision to expand my selection of foods.
Every week I'm going to try to post one new food I've decided to try or give a chance to - ones that I've dismissed in the past because of the way it looks, smells, the texture of it, or never even gave a second glance to. I'm hoping you guys have some tips or tricks on how to eat that food, what type is the best, etc.
The list so far:
Until then, eat your heart out <3
