First of all, I need to proclaim: I HAVE GONE TWO WEEKS WITHOUT FRIED FOOD! It hasn't always been easy, but it is worth it. My fear is that I'm going to go out one day and absentmindedly pick up a French fry and only realize it's fried after I'm already munching on it. So I need to make sure that I am conscious of the food I'm putting in my mouth, because mindless snacking was always my downfall.
With that said, here's today's menu:
Breakfast:
Apple with cinnamon
Yogurt with maple pecan granola (from Trader Joe's)
Lunch:
Salad with lettuce, carrots, red cabbage, red onions, edamame, black beans, corn, buffalo chicken (2 oz), jalapenos, light ranch dressing (~2 tbsp)
Cottage cheese 100 calorie pack with apples & cinnamon
Snack:
Tortilla chips with 1tbsp guacamole and fresh salsa
2 M&M cookies
Handful peanuts
Dinner:
1/2 potato with salsa
Rice and broccoli with cheese sauce
Chicken cordon bleu (small)
Corn on the cob
Snack:
Handful peanuts
Pretzels & cucumbers with homemade guacamole
