Food Diary - July 18

Boy oh boy, I completely fell off the blogging trail for a while there.  I don't know why; I've been at my computer, so it shouldn't have been difficult.  I wasn't getting frustrated with it, either.  I think maybe after a day or two of skipping, it became less of an enjoyable habit and more of a chore.  Fear not! I'm back in action and ready to take on the blog-o-sphere.

Let me also mention that I actually haven't been eating badly.  I have been paying attention to what I've been eating, I just haven't been writing it down.  But yesterday, I noticed myself nibbling on chocolate from the candy jar, and I felt like I might go down that path again.  The I'm-eating-anything-in-sight-because-it's-there, my-office-has-too-much-food-around path.  I've also been eating out a little more than I'd like, and not only is it not necessarily good for my waistline (I like having control over what goes into my meals), but it's also not good for my wallet's waistline, either.  SO NO MORE!

Here's today so far:
4 hard-boiled egg whites, 3 with salsa and 1 with hummus (I ran out of salsa.. eek!)
Red seedless grapes

Lunch:
Salad with jalapenos, red onions, corn, black beans, chicken, fat free ranch dressing
1 whole wheat pita
Hummus

Dinner:
Pasta with meat sauce
Coleslaw
Pickle
2 slices Velveeta cheese

Snack:
Handful peanuts
Cheesecake mousse
